I took the bunnies to the vet today and they are not very happy with me. I got talked into doing blood work… I know I am a sucker when it comes to my babies. It cost a small fortune especially since they are healthy!! It was really hard to watch them take the blood from their little legs. They had a hard time finding a vein on Tuscan and had to poke him a couple times. I saw better when they did Moose. They put them on their side which they hate. Then they have to pluck out a bunch of fur to get to some skin. Needless to say they are really unhappy with me. I got several foot flicks from Tuscan when we got home. He ran to the corner and stared me down. I got a couple pictures of him mad. He usually stays mad for awhile.

I took some pictures of JD napping

But I woke him up from his nap and he wasn’t too happy with me either.

Here are a few pictures of the rabbits enjoying their Christmas gifts. They really weren’t all that excited about them at first, but eventually they came out and played a bit.

Moose was more interested in pushing around the treat jar

I finally sent the Christmas cards! It has been quit a mess. I thought I had plenty of time to order a sample card, but when I ordered them from Walmart at Thanksgiving I realized it would take 2 weeks to get it so I went ahead and ordered the cards. I got them 2 weeks later and was really disappointed in the color of the photo on the card. It wasn’t like the picture at all (at least to me, the perfectionist). Walmart gave me a very small refund….. I hope everyone enjoys them! If you have any ideas for next year’s photo shoot (which we will do in September!) let me know. Also, if anyone has found a place to print cards let me know for next year. Thanks!! Here is the Christmas card photo:

Here is my second favorite and the wallpaper on my work computer!

They did this during the night and this is how I found the Bunny Condo in the morning.

Okay, we went to the house again at lunch. The house was to be completed at 2 today so Avery and I were hoping to see the stars of the show! Tracy and John spent some time with the crowd, but Ty and Paul weren’t as nice! Ty walked by pretty quickly so I couldn’t get a good picture. Paul ran past the crowd with his head down. There was no way to get a picture of him. The house looks great and is really big. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but it goes back really far and I think it might be 3 stories in the back due to the hill they are on. It is amazing to see how much it changes every day. The reveal is tomorrow and I won’t be in town, but I am sure it would be crowded anyway. They don’t let you get too close.
Episode is scheduled to air January 21, 2007 at 8 pm

Avery and I went to visit the house today at lunch and I took a couple pictures. It amazing out much the front changed in 16 hours. We are going again tomorrow! Still no star sightings.

Guess who is in town? Ty and the gang from Extreme Home Makeover. They picked a family here in Raleigh and began the renovation last Friday. We went down there tonight and got a couple pictures. It was really neat to see the whole production and you really felt for all the neighbors who can’t drive down their street or sleep at night from the noise and lights. It is amazing to see. Sure it is just a house being built, but like you have never seen before. We (okay I) was hoping to see Ty, but I knew the probability of seeing him was slim. We were told he was there filming earlier in the day. I guess him and the gang were off enjoying a nice meal somewhere!! It wasn’t like you see on TV. There are tons of trailers and tents everywhere. It must take a lot of work to coordinate everything. I do kinda wonder what the stars are doing all day and night while the volunteers are working!! I have heard several people talk about watching them record and re-record shots. Kinda funny. Well, they are doing a good thing for a good family. Here is a link with some great pictures from each day.

I am going on the Oakwood Candlelight Tour this weekend so I will stop by and take a few pictures of the finished house and post. The show will air in February, I will let you all know when I found out the exact date.
Here are a few pictures I took tonight

The community center is also being renovated
