The Blackburn Family

Well, we left for Charlotte on Friday evening to attend Casey’s grandmother’s funeral.  She passed away early Thursday morning after several days in the hospital.  We woke up Saturday morning to the news that Casey’s sister had gone in to labor overnight and had her second little girl at 9:21 on Saturday January 20th weighing 5 pounds 15 ounces and 18 inches long.  It was truly a mix of emotions that day.  We attended the funeral for his grandmother that morning and then went to see the baby.  I of course held her for over an hour.  She is gorgeous I can’t wait to see her in a couple weeks.
