Graham has finally found a new sound! The last couple of days he has been saying da, da, da and ya, ya, ya. He sometimes says ma, but not very often. He is also doing really good at pulling himself up, but I don’t have any good toys or objects for him to practice. He needs something short so he can reach it while sitting. He still has a little trouble figuring out just how to get his legs under him and still be able to stand. He will pull himself up a few times and then you can tell he is getting tired. We continue to put him on his stomach, but he has no interest in rolling or crawling. He messes around for a bit and then just lays there until we move him. He is much happier sitting. I met up with my friend Melanie and her son Ethan over the weekend. Ethan is 7 weeks younger, but it a normal sized baby which makes Graham look so tiny! Ethan is already 3 pounds bigger! We met up at a park with her mom and sister. There were tons of kids there and we found another little boy named Max who is 7 months old. The three boys were so different. It is amazing how three babies that are almost the same age could be so different. I don’t realize just how relaxed and laid back Graham is until I see other babies. He is perfectly content to just sit, look around and take it all in. Especially around lots of new people. Max was so outgoing! So full of personality, laughing, playing, moving! Ethan and Graham just kind sat there and watched him. Too funny. Ethan is a little more energy filled than Graham, but nothing like Max. Wow…. he was full of energy!

We went to Wilmington this week and picked up my new ride! We now have a 2007 Nissan Quest with lots of toys for Casey. It has skyview, DVD player, leather, heated seats, rear camera (to help me back up the bus), heated mirrors and tons of other fun things my Maxima was lacking. It is taking me some time to get used to the size of it. Driving isn’t really an issue, but I am still having a hard time with parking. It might be awhile until I work up the courage to park in the middle of a bunch of cars or a tight parking spot. The van really fills up the parking spot! There isn’t much room to work with when parking. I don’t have a picture of it yet, but I will try to add one next week. So far Graham seems to really like the new van. He slept the whole way home from Wilmington and he fell asleep on the way home from the park! He didn’t sleep very much when riding in the Maxima.

Here are a couple videos I have been meaning to post, but time keeps getting away from me.

A few pictures I took over the weekend. I thought they were cool. Something a little different for you guys.

Getting ready for when he goes to ASU in 18 years.

He loves to lounge in the high chairs. He is SO a Blackburn boy. 😉
